Lucas Oak Frames is a Somerset and Wiltshire based family business.

Being passionate about traditionally made, quality structures that are built to last for lifetimes, and the skills and craftsmanship used in the manufacturing processes, we believe in the importance of preserving these age-old skills such as 'post and beam' construction and 'scribing'.

Alex Lucas is responsible for most of the hard work here.  With a background in joinery he served his apprenticeship, qualified as a timber framer and has now been working in the industry for many years.  During this time he has been fortunate enough to have added to his wealth of knowledge and experience by working with many different framers on many different projects.
