Once finished in the yard the frame is packed up and delivered to site. A team of Framers then unload the timber and begin the process of raising the frame. Where warranted we will use a crane to lift in each element but can be raised by hand or with manual lifting equipment. Each joint is then pegged together using tapered oak pegs and, if required, stainless steel fixings. Once the raising is completed we check over the frame to make sure it is sitting correctly before signing off.
